Chibiverse Origins

Behind the Rift

Rift Walkers Inc didn’t begin with a strategy or a roadmap. It began with a spark — small, quiet, but impossible to ignore. The kind of moment that feels like a tiny creature tugging at your sleeve, asking to be seen.

I’ve always been drawn to worlds that feel bigger than the frame they’re shown in. Characters with oversized emotions. Scenes shaped by shadow and glow. Stories that don’t explain themselves, but leave you with a feeling you can’t shake. I never knew exactly what form that energy would take — only that it was building toward something waiting on the other side.

When I started designing my first pieces, it didn’t feel like creating from scratch. It felt like uncovering something that had been hiding in plain sight. The style came naturally: the mood, the atmosphere, the sense of a world just beyond reach. But this time, that world wasn’t cinematic or cosmic — it was chibi. Cute, eerie, expressive, and alive.

That was the moment the Rift opened.

Rift Walkers Inc grew from that spark — from trusting instinct and letting these tiny, chaotic, adorable creatures step forward. Every design is intentional: no noise, no clutter, no filler. Just a single chibi moment captured in a way that invites you to imagine the rest of the world they come from.

This brand is personal. It’s the result of finally giving myself permission to create the universe I always saw in my head — a universe of tension, mystery, and cute‑dark energy. A universe where small characters carry big stories. A universe that doesn’t shout, but pulls you in with a tiny hand and a mischievous grin.

If you’re here, reading this, then you’re already part of that universe. You’re standing at the edge of the Rift with me, looking into something still forming, still expanding, still full of tiny terrors and soft chaos.

Thank you for being here at the beginning. The Rift is open — and the chibis are waiting.
